This new page was born out of the idea that the majority of TAW is built around our non-commissioned members. This page will represent those members with questions that will give insight into various subject matter, both personal and TAW related. MGS Paraletic [HOTS 1]
Could you tell our readers a little about your personal life, e.g. where you’re from, do you work or are you still in school.
My day is very boring, work, gym and game. I run a family business by week and a barman at a high end club over the weekend.
Could you give our readers some background on your gaming career?
First game I can remember playing was COD 3 on xbox 360 then moved onto pc games such as Counter strike.
I played many strategy games such as R.U.Z.E but throughout this time I played CS:GO and got Global for a very long time till I started playing HOTS.
What brought you to the TAW community?
Wanted to start playing HOTS competitively didn’t find what I was looking for and didn’t care much for the rules (especially swearing) but I met some people with a very similar sense of humour as me and stuck around and took up a position (Hots PIA)
What was your first impression of TAW?
I didn’t think I would be staying for long as I didn’t think I’d bother with the no swearing rule.
From your point of view, what is one of the most important benefits of being in a gaming community such as TAW and why?
The most important part of a community such as TAW is what it says in the Title ‘community’ people are the reason I stuck around and if someone such as Xevyr leaves I will be heart broken and probably leave myself.
Do you at this point in time, have any aspirations of taking on a leadership role? If yes, why?
I will do as I was once an Officer and really enjoyed it.
Do you have any special hobbies or activities outside of TAW?
Shooting, running, GYM, Paintballing and fishing.
I’d also count drinking as I’m very good at that.
From all of us at NEWS, thank you for taking the time to do this Master Gunnery Sergeant!
