Four editions in already?
Time certainly has flown since we relaunched From the Battlefield, and with every month that goes by, we're adding more and more content, writers and features. On the subject of new stuff, I can now announce two new sections that will debut in our October Edition: Review Corner and Ride-Along...
Review Corner is, shockingly enough, going to be focused on game reviews. We're aiming to get two or three titles reviewed per issue, and it can be anything, not just TAW games. As always, we are open to freelancers coming in, so if you'd like to rant about how much you love that obscure indie-title, get in touch!
Ride-Along will seen one of our intrepid reporters go undercover and play an event with one (not so) lucky division. They will then report back with a no-holds barred of of how the event was run, what happened, and how badly they did.
On a slightly more sombre note, this episode sees a special piece bidding farewell to Ghost Recon Phantoms. With the news that support for the game is being withdrawn, the division has begun the sad process of winding down. We wish the members of GRP all the best, and we're sure that they will be an asset to whichever unit they join.
ONE LAST THING. We have not run the Roll of Honour feature this month due to a lack of submissions. Please ensure that you mail our good man firstname.lastname@example.org a list of your promotions and medals for each month; we take great pride in the achievements of our members, and it's nice to have them recognised in a community-wide forum.
Anyway, on with the show!
