Army Review

Quake was first, Counter Strike perfected it, Overwatch redefined it.
Overwatch players can finally feel free to stop worrying about getting on the payload, because deathmatch modes are on their way to the game!
With this new mode in the game, the Overwatch EU Battalion will be hosting a tournament under the [OW] EU - Battalion channel at 20.09.2017 @ 18:00 GMT. Feel free to join them if you can!
Don’t know much about the rules of a deathmatch? The rules are simple!
8 players will enter the arena - fighting to death over and over, lol - and try their best to have the most eliminations in 10 minutes or be the first to reach 30 eliminations and win the game. Respawning on the map will be happening randomly and all heroes can be played.
With this game mode, FFA (Free For All) players can really show you what they are made of. Not a single excuse, not a team or anything else but you and your skill to hold you back.
Msg. TrixCold [OW 2TS] plays a lot of deathmatch and had the following to say :
“I played the Deathmatch mode when it first came out on our test servers. Now that it’s on the live servers, I slowly found out there are so many ways to have fun with this game mode! Aside from the regular rules, u can start making up your own rules. It goes from random hero spawning, only one hero can be played to fast ultimate charge and so much more! And all that will only give a Deathmatch this extra little bit of spicy-ness that make any fight even better!”
Overwatch’ Deathmatch will use a modified map version, called Chateau Gullard. It’s a fitting place to host a deathmatch, as it used to be the Widowmaker’s home before her husband kicked the bucket and died. We’ll get to learn more about the whole backstory while defiling any remaining good memories she had of the place with even more bloodshed. Doesn’t that just sound like tons and tons of fun?
With Overwatch bringing the FFA Deathmatch mode, they also created another mode called 4v4 Team Deathmatch. A game mode where you play in a team of 4 and try to beat your opponent to be the first in reaching 30 eliminations. This mode plays almost like FFA but it just a little more team based and can be played on any of the already existing arena maps.
All TAW members are free to join their events, they hope to see as many people as possible present.
Don’t forget, “Heroes never die”.

“You know, the world could always use more heroes…”
And more heroes it will get...
After a lot of work and planning in the overwatch EU battalion, we are happy to announce the start of the Overwatch League.
4 teams, lead and organized by our best leaders will fight each other to claim the title of the Overwatch league winners.
The Overwatch division assembled their members into 4 teams:
Primal Fire
Breathing Rubber Duckies
Fluffy Bunnies
Nemesis
Currently they are in process to create another, 5th team!!!
Each team will have been fighting very hard on Sunday and Tuesday at 19:00 GMT. However, with the 10th of September the League event will end and the Overwatch division will be celebrating with their winners on the 17th of September at 18:00 GMT in the awards ceremony.
So feel free to join their events, and take part with them. And don’t forget to join the Overwatch division in the award ceremony, where we as a community can show our respect to those members that went above and beyond all expectations and made TAW proud.
Don't forget, “Heroes never die”
