Servant Leadership Presentation: An Overview
-Albenji
On March 11th in conjunction with TAW Education, TAW University, and TAW Streaming Operations, Operations Commander Cherry gave a presentation titled "Servant Leadership." It was hosted in TeamSpeak and live streamed at TawTv as well.
Well before the presentation was to begin, Team Speak slots began to fill, and as the presentation began almost a hundred TAW members were in attendance. Capt. Kareltjee [CO EDU] made a brief introduction and set the rules for the presentation. Cherry then took the podium and introduced himself with a brief history of his career in TAW and his personal life.
Cherry jumped right into the presentation with the help of PowerPoint and gave an overview of the subjects that were to be covered. These included introduction and background, characteristics, paradoxes, and finally the implementation of Servant Leadership into TAW.
Because this is an introductory presentation of Servant Leadership, Cherry established a good foundation upon which to build further presentations. Cherry started with the history of this system of leadership which spans thousands of years and multiple cultures. Influential persons from all over the globe have practiced this style of leadership since its inception and have effected changes as the system evolved. Despite these changes, the core principles have largely remained intact, and they are what is being discussed today. The rediscovery of this tried and true system in many of today’s largest corporate organizations underscores the validity of its tenant’s. Cherry continued the presentation by reminding everyone that this is a way of thinking, and that not everyone will find it easy to implement. He reiterated the importance of how it will influence a person's total outlook on their interactions with others in and outside of TAW. Servant Leadership is a concept that crosses all cultures, languages, geographical and ethnic barriers. It is self-sustaining, potentially life changing and adaptable.
This writer highly recommends anyone who is considering a leadership role in TAW, or for that matter any leadership role in real life, to watch the Youtube presentation, investigate the content and its sources, and to conceptualize what it might do for your future.

SOCOP Is Recruiting
Greetings TAW Family!
SOCOP is looking for dedicated individuals who have a passion for social media and making friends. If you enjoy getting to know people across all Divisions of TAW then the Social Operations team may be the best fit for you.
We are currently looking for members that would like to handle our Twitter, Reddit, or Steam communities. This would involve posting events, responding to messages on these platforms, and being a beacon of information to our followers.
If this sounds like something you would like to do, please send an email to Cleonalla (Division Officer) and Sloan (Division Commander).

TSO Division Update
-Tichtac
After a strong new year start, the streaming hype fell down in February. Still a few notable tournaments and beta games testing happened during the month, bringing in quite a few viewers. Sometimes it’s not the number but the home feeling that is important in a stream and it’s exactly what we got last month!
In total, Tawtv got 90 new followers that joined the family. There was also 1600 views during the 31 active hours the channel was running.
We are always on the lookout to recruit EU, NA and OC members on the streamers team, on the training team, and on the administration team. If you want to stream for your division, for weekly event, make sure to come talk with us! In TSO, we believed that the most important thing for a streamer is to stick to a schedule, even if it’s hard to do so! Consistency is the key!
Thanks to all who push streaming in their division and support the community by doing so!
