Great news from the TAW streaming operation division! -Tichtac Hello TAW community! As written in a past newsletter, we received an affiliation with twitch in april. Eventually, that affiliation was going to give us access to the sub button the TAWTV channel! Well it’s going to be here this Sunday! You’ll be able to send bits and subscribe! https://www.twitch.tv/tawtv We will also have access to one emote, but will have access to more if we get a few subscription! Since it is a community project to build the channel, we want your suggestion for it. So TAW members, with all the imagination you guys have, what should we request for! Please take notes that we already have a TAW seal on BTTV. If you want to do a suggestion, here’s the link to do so! Click here! On that note, keep streaming! |
TAW EDU: Recruitment University Class -Muzzle On June 10, the TAW Education Center [EDU] hosted another leadership seminar focusing on how to improve recruitment within the community. The class, officially titled TAW University: Recruiting, was presented by LTC. Natalino [EFT DC] and discussed the many steps and actions that all TAW members can take in order to recruit new members. The information presented in this class was specifically tailored to fit the needs of TAW, and was presented in a clear and relatable way. There was a significant number of different recruiting strategies discussed, so all the units within TAW will find several of them to be great fits to improve current recruitment efforts. The depth of information in the class was praised by many of the members in attendance. The knowledge gained from the class will help current and future units reach out to new players and increase the size of our community. EDU would like to thank everyone who attended for their interest and support, and hopes to bring more classes like "Recruiting" to the members of TAW for the foreseeable future. EDU is looking forward to the next TAW U on July 23rd at 3:00 EST, which is titled “Communication Skills 101”. We hope you will be able to attend. |
Important PIA NEWS
- Arianni
As per my blog post a couple of weeks ago, I'm currently looking into options on how we could improve things for our amazing Public Information Administrators! The good news is that we have some interesting changes coming up on SOCOP's side which will be announced in near future - I'll try to add these to this post as soon as these updates go live.
But I think that we can do better than that, and this is why I would need everyone's feedback so I can start taking these into consideration and plan around it.
I'll accept any response from you guys: positive, negative, past experiences, suggestions - no matter how big or small, throw em' at me - I just need you to be honest! Feedback from AL/TFO/CC and current/former PIA's would be especially appreciated.
So if you have anything you'd like to feed back to Social Operations, just drop a comment on this post or/and fill out this form to help out and make TAW a better place. Because as we all know: we can't fix issues that we aren't aware of!
In the meanwhile - here's a list of things SOCOP are working on, relating to PIA's:
- Giving out Facebook Page editor access
- Creating a fancy guide, as a nice reminder for everyone what PIA's can do
- Searching for an active NA SOCOP-PIA liaison, as currently both of our liaisons are EU based
Aaand what's recently been completed & implemented:
- Created a "PIA Information" channel under SOCOP with all relevant information
- Arranged regular PIA meetings (Sundays 21:00BST/16:00EDT (bi-weekly))
- Recording PIA meetings for those who can't attend
You can get in touch with me through these forums, on Teamspeak or email [email protected] if you need any help filling out the form or have any general questions.
I wish my Public Information Administrator could... - Live Feedback Thread
