TAW EDU: Dealing With Drama
-Muzzle
On May 7, the TAW EDU Academy [EDU] hosted its newest leadership seminar focusing on dealing with drama within the community. The class, officially titled TAW University: Dealing with Drama, was presented by 1LT. Sydan [EDU SO] and covered the topics of how all members, leadership and general membership alike, can prevent the development and spread of conflict among their circle of influence within TAW.
The information presented in this class showed the usual care that members have come to expect from EDU. What could have easily become a TFO level course in how to clean up the messes that are inherent with large international groups was instead delivered in such a manner as to improve the community from recruit to CiC. This kind of broad-based “grassroots” instruction has a much more deep and lasting impact on the community as a whole. This is immediately evidenced by the fact that this initial presentation drew several dozens of eager members into the channel. This high turnout led to an interactive discussion that will have a noticeable impact on the divisions that had members present.
EDU as a whole is very thankful for the interest and support shown by the community at large and hopes to bring more classes like "Dealing with Drama" to the members of TAW in the near future. Successful presentations with the level of participation shown on May 7 are integral to the growth and the overall development of the TAW community and EDU is looking forward to doing their part in bringing a strong dynamic of fraternity and cooperation to each and every division in TAW.

Affiliated? Twitch community? What’s that!!!

A few exciting new events happened during April!
To begin with, at the end of April Twitch launched a project to affiliated smaller stream channels. In order to be invited to that Twitch project, we had to have at least seven different streaming sessions and at least 500 minutes broadcast in the last 30 days, or an average of at least 3 viewers at all times on the channel with a minimum of 50 followers. All those requirements were exceeded and TAWTV was sent an invitation to the program. In the near future, it will allow TAWTV to have a subscription button, receive bits, and more stuff, while they complete the program.
Twitch also did a sweet update for the streamers. They are now allowing people to join their streams under community names. It will help people find other community members on twitch, to watch them and to support them! The one that was created for TAW is called TAW_United. To join the community, you simply have to enter the community name right under the game you are playing in your dashboard.
Doing a donation on the TAWTV channel during the fundraising while it’s live is a fun way to send a message to the active streamer, as the vocal part of the donations have been activated for the occasion! (Make sure to write your TAW name in the message to receive the fundraising tab!)
In total, we've had 92 new follows this month on the channel during the 50 hours the channel was live. Welcome to all the new viewers! TAWTV hit 77k views during the month and it is currently well on it’s way to 80k. The channel was hosted over 300 times in april, thanks to all the auto hosting!
If you wish to be part of the TSO team, we are recruiting, so contact us for more info!
